Many believe only big organizations become targets for cyber-extortion, however small businesses and individuals face the same threats but often don’t have the technological infrastructure or experience to monitor and defend against them. This session will demonstrate what the cybercriminal wants and how to defend against the tactics used to compromise your digital security. We will explore the current threats facing both professional and casual Internet users through providing methods to combat these threats while maintaining the same level of freedom online.
